CINCINION is a Bulgarian-based brand of cosmetics that offers a diverse range of premium-quality personal care products that contain MUCUS and CAVIAR from snails of the species Helix aspersa maxima. The company has been established in 2016 and specializes in the development, manufacturing and application of snail raw materials for the purposes of the health and beauty industry. In our research, we are collaborating with bio-chemical engineers from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and medical experts from the Medical University – Sofia. Thanks to our original snail breeding and processing cycle and unlike mass-marketed snail extract formulas, our skin care products boast 100%-pure snail concentrate, which retains its biological activity and high nutritional value.

The snails are grown on our own farm at the foot of the Balkan Mountains in an ecological and ethical way, without causing them any harm. By feeding them a healthy, balanced diet and rearing them in a controlled environment, we minimize the risk of sample contamination. During reproduction, the snails lay their eggs in soil-containing boxes, which are then collected, cleaned, homogenized and lyophilized (freeze-dried). Several times per year, the snails are bathed in large containers as to collect their mucus, which goes through several stages of purification before being freeze-dried itself. In contrast to standard processing methodologies, the lyophilization procedure leaves the composition of the snail raw materials chemically unaltered AND guarantees the concentration of dry matter that appears in the final product. In addition, the lyophilized snail concentrate has long shelf life without the need of preservatives or other excipients.

All our skin care products are developed in close cooperation with experienced chemical engineers and dermatological specialists, and are manufactured according to established standards and with utmost care for quality. Our collections of creams, serums and personal hygiene products follow the latest trends in the cosmetics industry, combining bioactive ingredients of natural origin with the nutrient-dense lyophilized snail mucus and caviar. The resulting formulas demonstrate exceptional restorative, replenishing, antioxidant and antibacterial properties. They help the skin regain its elasticity and smoothness, and have an ameliorative effect on dermatological conditions such as acne, rosacea, wrinkles, facial lines, age spots, freckles, stretch marks and scars.
